My son Simon is 14 and his main anxiety is about school as he gets very worried about tests. One morning, he woke up feeling really jittery about the test he was about to take. My husband was subject to panic attacks when I met him about 5 years ago. At that time, he was seeing a psychologist to help him. After some time, the attacks just stopped and his visits to the psychologist became very rare. Except that two months ago, out of the blue, he got a panic attack again after almost four years.   • What is teleconsultation service?

    Teleconsultation service refers to a remote consultation with a medical professional for the purpose of providing mental health advice or counselling through electronic means.

  • What is NOT teleconsultation service?

    Our teleconsultation service is not an emergency service. In case of emergency, please seek immediate emergency medical care/assistance or call 999 (or to your local emergency facility). If we detect a potential urgent condition (e.g. risk of self-harm, suicidal thoughts), we will advise you to have an emergency face-to face visit with a psychologist.

  • What is usually excluded from teleconsultation service?

    Whereas more and more medical decisions can be taken by a medical professional at a distance, some conditions or requests are still difficult to be managed remotely. This can include the issuance of a prescription as it depends on local regulations, the renewal of a treatment if prescribed originally by another medical professional, the issuance of a fit to work certificate as it may require a physical check, or in case the patient's condition requires advanced medical information. Also, if we detect a potential urgent condition, our medical professional may recommend a face-to-face visit instead of a teleconsultation.

  • How long is a teleconsultation?

    A mental health teleconsultation usually lasts from 30 minutes up to 1 hour. The emergency relief call lasts around 30 minutes.

  • How to start my teleconsultation?

    In the email confirmation and in the reminder you receive 10 minutes before your appointment, you will find a link to connect at the date and time of the teleconsultation. You can access whenever you want. At the time of the consultation, the waiting room will appear and our medical professional will open the consultation.

  • Can I refuse the video and have the consultation only by phone?

    Yes, even if you chose "videochat" when booking your appointment, you can change your mind at the last minute and even during the consultation with the medical professional. Just accept the "audio" mode, your camera will not be activated.

  • When can I book a teleconsultation?

    You can book through our online calendar 24/7 and up to 7 days in advance, by selecting a timeslot that is available:

    1. For Emergency Relief Call: Medical professionals available weekdays from 9am to 5 pm and on weekends from 9am to 12pm

    2. For Mental Health Counseling: Medical professionals available every day from 8am to 9pm

  • In which cases am I not eligible to a teleconsultation?

    Our service is not an emergency service. If we detect a potential urgent condition (risk of self-harm, suicidal thoughts etc.), we either advise you to have an emergency face-to face visit with a psychologist or that you call the emergency number: 999.

    No, no need to download an app. Just click in our web app onto the link and follow our guidance.

  • How do I check if the browser or system that I am using is suitable for a videochat?

    In our email confirmation to you, a list of all the systems to which our solution is optimized will be sent to you. The list of the systems includes Desktop: Edge from 17, Firefox from 22, Chrome from 23, Safari for MacOs from 11 – Mobile: Safari for iOS from 11, Android Browser from 76, Chrome from Android from 76 and Samsung Internet from 9.2.

  • Can I still use and benefit from a teleconsultation despite not having a camera for the video?

    Yes, our teleconsultation can be perfectly managed via audio and chat.

  • Can I use my smartphone for the teleconsultation?

    Yes, you can use a computer, a tablet or a smartphone.

  • Is Internet mandatory to access the service?

    Yes, a minimum bandwidth is mandatory for the appointment booking, the chat and the audio. A good quality connection is required for the video. If the bandwidth is not sufficient, the system will automatically switch from video to audio, without disconnecting you.

  • What to do in case of a disconnection during a consultation?

    In the case you are disconnected with the medical professional during a consultation, simply click on the same button to access the service. You will be connected with the same medical professional. In case the quality of the bandwidth is really too bad, our medical professional will propose to call you back on the phone number you declared at the time of the appointment, or another phone number that you can indicate.
